The Royal Train on the National Day


The Press Office of His Majesty King Michael of Romania is authorized to transmit the following communiqué:


From Saturday November 29 to Monday December 1, 2014, the Royal Train will travel from Bucharest to Sinaia, in a symbolic journey on the occasion of the National Day and in the memory of King Ferdinand The Loyal and Queen Marie of Romania.


On behalf of His Majesty King Michael I, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Margareta will invite on board members of the Diplomatic Corps and elderly people and volunteers involved in the Princess Margareta of Romania’s Foundation.


Saturday, November 29, the State Hall of Pelesh Castle will host the Annual Reception for the Diplomatic Corps, in the presence of Crown Princess Margareta and Prince Radu. Sunday, November 30, in the State Hall of Pelesh Castle, Crown Princess Margareta will grant, on behalf of King Michael I, the Royal Warrant to a number of Romanian companies.


Monday, December 1, the Royal Train will stop in the railway stations of Ploiești Sud, Focșani, Râmnicu-Sărat and Buzău. The Royal Family will meet with local authorities and members of the community, celebrating the National Day.
